What is are my top three films of all time?

1. No Country for Old Men directed by Ethan and Joel Coen
I chose this one because the Coen brothers are arguably the best story-tellers/writers in film write now and No Country for Old Men is the epitome of their talent to tell a story through a lens.  Not to mention the acting by Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, and Tommy Lee Jones creates an experience that a viewer can really dive in and immerse themselves into the creative writing of the Coen brothers.

2. This is Spinal Tap directed by Rob Reiner
This is Spinal Tap was one of the first movies to really bring about the new genre of film known as Mockumentary.  Not only was the comedy well written but, it was a very a believable story that if one hadn't known any better, he or she would have thought that Spinal Tap was a real band.

3. Toss up between Machete  by Robert Rodriguez and Grindhouse, which was a collaboration of two movies, Planet Terror and Death Proof, directed by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino, with help from Rob Zombie, Edgar Wright, Jason Eisener.
I chose these two Grindhouse themed movies because, while very violent and full of gore, are an interesting story with outrageous action that only the minds of Tarantino combined with Rodriguez, Zombie, Wright, and Eisener could create.  It's a movie where I can forget logic, loosen up my mind and enjoy some mindless, thrilling, stereotypical action done in a interesting/vintage style.
